Message from the PrincipalDear Parents, Welcome to the 2008-2009 school year. This year our school theme is We Believe. We are excited about all the things we want to make happen for and with your students this school term. Our priorities this year are
We have some fun and helpful things happening for our students this year. We are continuing PSP! PSP stands for the Patriot Success Period and it is our in school tutorials program. It is a 45 minute block of time during the school day where students can get extra help on math, science, social studies and reading. We want to reward good performance. So this year we are also introducing the Privilege Pass (bright blue). Students who do well in class on both their grades and conduct will be rewarded with a privilege pass. The pass allows students to where jeans on Friday, get into some school dances and games at a reduced rate, and eat in designated privileged areas. We are hoping that your son or daughter becomes a privilege pass student. Parents, we invite you to help us make great things happen this year. We care about your students and know that you have placed them in capable hands. We have one purpose, to ensure high levels of learning for every student. We are asking for your support as we make this year a success one. Welcome back to school. Yours truly, Mrs. Anastasia (Lindo) Anderson Principal
